Boss, Ma’am didn’t bat an eye when I said I can only work until 1:30 next week, she just pencilled it right in. So yay, I still have a job! Just not such an exhausting schedule. Whew. Because it is causing problems, some, but I kind of love working.

Psh. Teenagers. DrBob says they were out together all night. I’m not sure I approve of this young man – I’ve decided to call him Smedley. He spends a lot of time in the yard, yelling, and he keeps sneaking into the house and erm, “marking his territory,” except this is NOT his territory, thank you very much. I think he sprayed on the couch this evening. DrBob will not be happy.
In other news, Happy Birthday, Elemmaciltur! Hope you like your present. I may also be able to offer you a kitten in a few months…

This working thing is… well, full-time was always going to be a problem. I said I could handle anything for two weeks, but we’re heading into week four now. The Sniglet is getting into trouble at school, and one of my extensive network of spies* saw him jaywalking across the intercity highway that bisects OurTown, so now he needs to be taken to and fetched from school. I woke up with a headache, and the trees were whipping about in an apparently strong wind. Then it all went still and a whole bunch of slush fell from the sky – not snow that turned to slush, no. This was ready-made misery. The church tower fell over in Vilsbiburg, and a couple of trees went down here and there, but I only just now found out that it was a hurricane.
